Allah created all the souls of the descendants of Adam and Eve who were predestined to come to this earth. Everything about the universes and our soul before and after creations are documented and recorded in the tablet (book) board in heaven(Lau Ho Mahfuz).

Allah once asked all the created souls, "who is your Lord?". All the souls said "You are our Creator our Lord". But souls forget the covenant when they descend to the earth. Some have faint or vague memory of Allah (God) in the inner core of the heart. At times of life threatening danger man will automatically shout "Oh God !". But who is that God? If no one tells him he will not know. At that time they usually do not address false gods. They usually point up to the heaven and say Almighty God meaning ALLAH.. If they say that many times they will forget false gods. That is the inner instinct of Humans.

The soul is sent down to this earth into the body of fetus developed in the mother's womb and the fetus becomes alive. The fetus was swimming in the amniotic fluid inside the uterus like a fish. It does not breathe air. The fetus was fed by the blood through the placenta of the mother and supplied to the body of the fetus by means of umbilical cord. In pregnant women there is no menstruation until the baby is born. Do we remember how we lived 9 months inside the mother's womb? 

After the soul departs from the body at the time of ones death, Allah keeps it in a place called Alam Barzaak. Good people's soul are kept in a good place and bad people's soul in a bad place until Kiyamat (Judgment Day) arrives, when everything is destroyed except Allah. There will be resurrection of all Mankind.

Natural disasters : Tropical Storm Debby

The purpose behind natural disasters such as floods (Tropical Storm Debby), earthquakes and storms, cannot only be viewed as forms of divine punishments, they are also designed to remind us of God's blessings. They help us to avoid being negligent, they allow our natural talents to blossom, they help revive life on earth, and ultimately they punish people who are oppressors.. All of these can be considered as the reasons behind why natural disasters occur. In addition, a phenomenon can have a material source and simultaneously be a divine punishment, since God's punishments come down on us based on His law and causal based system.

In other words, everything in the world happens based upon God's will, and God enforces His will on the basis of the law of causation. In fact material causes are a part of God's will and decree. Natural disasters happen through natural means and are also based on God's will, hence preventing them or reducing their destructive consequences does not necessarily contradict with the fact that the goal is to punish a person or a group of people.

Calamities which human beings face are of two types: Natural catastrophes and Moral catastrophes (external and internal). It has been proven that morally wicked acts can cause divine punishments to come down for humans and these can come down in the form of natural disasters. In general, both types can have punishing effects. However, one can categorize divine calamities to sometimes include things such as wealth and welfare and not just natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, etc.

From the Holy Quran’s point of view, one of God's methods is to test human beings by putting them through difficulties at various stages in their lives in order to draw out and manifest their hidden talents.  One of the most important consequences of calamities is that they awaken human beings from the ignorance caused by the material blessings of this world. These calamities remind humans of their important responsibilities before God and replace arrogance with humbleness. Regarding this issue, the Holy Quran says that various Prophets have had their people tested with different types of hardships in order to dissolve any feeling of resistance in them and to help them to submit to the truth.

“ And We sent not any Prophet to a town, but We took its people with tribulation and desolation so that perhaps they will lower themselves.”  - Surah Al-A'raf 7:94

REALITY OF DEATH

Almighty Lord  Allah (swt) says in the Qur'aan

 "Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion: and He over all things hath Power; He Who created Death and Life the may try which of you is best in deed: and he is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;....  (Surah Al-Mulkhat -67:1-2)

Every one of us has to die. In this regard Allah mentioned in the Qur'aan  that everyone has to die including the Prophet himself:Allah says in Holy Quran

  "Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day)."    Surah Al Zumar (39:30)

Allah also said  that every soul shall taste the death:

"Every soul shall have taste of death; In the end to us shall ye be brought back .(Surah Al-'Ankabut The Spider 29:57)

No one knows when and where one will  die. No one even knows how someone  is to die. In this respect Allah says in the Qur'an

"Nor does anyone know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does anyone know in what land he is to die. Verily with God is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things)" (Surah Luqman:-31:34)

It is understood that Allah alone is the One Who gives life, and it is He Who takes off life. In this regard, Allah says in Qur'aan
 

:  "It is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decides upon an affair, He says to it, "Be, " "and it is. " (Surah Al- Mu'min -The Believer(40:68)

While life and death are from Allah, we have to remember that they are to take place with the permission of Allah alone. Each one's life and death are decided by Allah. It is stated in the Qur'aan

"Nor can a soul die except by God as leave, the term being fixed as by writing. Many do desire a reward in this life, we shall give it to him, and if any do desire a reward In the hereafter, we shall give it to him. And swiftly shall we reward those that (serve us with) gratitude. "(Surah Al-'Imran -The family of Imraan 3:145)

Allah (swt) makes us to die daily while sleeping. He makes most of us to wake up from our temporary death so we can  praise Him and to worship Him. The Qur'aan states

"It is God that takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to t life) but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed. Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect. (Surah Al-Zumar - The Crowds 39:42)

Allah has assigned an angel responsible for taking our souls out of our body.  The angel's name in the Qur'aan is ( Malakul- Maut) Angel of Death. Allah informs us in Holy Quran

"Say: "The Angel of Death put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: Then shall ye be brought back to your Lord. "( Surah Al-Sajdah- Prostration:32:11)

The life of each and every human being  on this earth is a short one, but the deeds and actions of a true believer are eternal if he knows how to channel them in the right directions. As far as the life span of a human being is concerned, our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said:
 

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "The life span of my followers are between sixty and seventy. Very few of them do exceeds this age. " Reported by: Tirmizi

Life in this world is a temporary one. The real( Permanent)  life is the one of  Life Hereafter. In this respect the Qur'aan states
 

"What is the life of this world but amusement and play? But verily the Home in the Hereafter, that is life indeed, it they but knew." (Surah Al-Ankabut -The Spider:  (29:64)

We are here on a trial basis, we are here on a temporary basis, and we are here for a passage to Paradise or Hell . The real life of an eternal rest is that of the hereafter. In this respect Allah says in

"O my People! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience. It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last. "(Surah Al Mu'min -The Believer:  (40 39)

Without coming to this world, and without dying we can't go to paradise. We can't dream to go to the final destination  without tasting death. So we have to die whether we like it or not. Death is truth (Haqq). . It is a passage to Paradise. Therefore, it is important that we remember the death and prepare  for it..Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) reminded us that we have to remember death, as it is the one that defeats all types of pleasures.

Narrated by Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Increase your remembrance of the One which defeats pleasures"  While we are to remember death, we have to prepare ourselves to meet it - before it meets us. In this regard our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said:  ''Do for your life as if you are to live eternally, and do for the hereafter as if you are to die tomorrow. ''

Remember that death is a process to reaching the final destination  for both the believers and the non-believer.  We hope and pray that each and everyone will go to Paradise.  In other to achieve this ultimate success we must find out what Our Creator wants from us. and we must strive to seek the truth.  In order one must desire the ultimate success there are two important things are necessary.  First one must desire the real truth and second one must strive to seek the truth.

Judgement Day In Islam

In Islam, Yawm al-Qiyāmah "the Day of Resurrection" (Arabic: يوم القيامة‎) or Yawm ad-Din "the Day of Judgement" (Arabic: يوم الدين‎) is God's final assessment of humanity. al-Qiyāmah is also the name of the 75th surah of the Qur'an.

The sequence of events according to the most common understanding is the annihilation of all creatures, resurrection of the body and the judgment of all sentient creatures. The time of the Hour is not known however there are Major and Minor Signs which are to, according to Islam, occur near the time of Qiyamah (Doomsday). Final judgment forms one of the main themes of the Qur'an. Many Qur'anic verses, especially the earliest ones, are dominated by the idea of the nearing Day of Resurrection.

Belief in al-Qiyāmah is considered a fundamental tenet of faith by all Muslims. The trials and tribulations associated with it are detailed in both the Qur'an and the hadith, as well as in the commentaries of the Islamic expositors and scholarly authorities such as al-Ghazali, Ibn Kathir, Ibn Majah, Muhammad al-Bukhari, and Ibn Khuzaimah who explain them in detail. Every human, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, is held accountable for his or her deeds and are judged by God accordingly.

The importance of the Last Judgement is underlined by the many references to it in the Qur'an and its many names. For example, it is also called "the Day of Reckoning", "the Hour", "Day of the Account", "Day of the Gathering", "Day of the Reckoning", and the "Great Announcement".

The Minor Signs Of Judgment Day

What are they waiting for but for the hour to come upon them suddenly? Its signs have already come. What good will their reminder be to them when it does arrive?

• When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions. (Abu Musa Ash'ari)
• When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy. (Abu Musa Ash'ari)
• Music and musical instruments will be found in every home. (Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood)
• When violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common. (Abu Musa Ash'ari)
• You shall see the barefoot, naked, shepherds compete in building tall structures. (Sahih Muslim)

The Major Signs Of Judgement Day

The major signs are those that will occur closer to the Day of Judgment, and they are said to be very extraordinary.These are the seven major signs of this day.

1)  The Appearance of Al-Maseeh-ud-Dajjal, the False Messiah. Ad-Dajjal is said to be a beast who will come claiming to be God holding heaven and hell. His sole purpose is to deceive people and lead them away from the remembrance of Allah, and the unbelievers will follow him. He will have only one good eye and he will be blind in the other eye. On his forehead there will be a sign saying "Kafir," or disbeliever. He will perform some miracles which will serve to deceive some people.

The prophet Muhammed warned,

Whoever hears about the coming of Ad-Dajjal should stay away from him because by Allah, a man could come to him thinking of himself a strong believer but then he will follow Ad-Dajjal because of the doubts he will spread

There are many deceiving miracles Ad-Dajjal will perform to mislead the people on earth. He will appear between the cities of Iraq and Syria and will create disaster left and right. He will command the sky to rain and it will rain. He will command the earth, and it will produce crops. After grazing on these crops, their animals will return with their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. When he will call people to come to a false region with him and they reject his call, he will leave them and they will suffer famine and will possess no form of wealth. Then lastly he will call a young man brimming with youth; he will strike him with a sword and cut him in two, then place the two pieces at a distance between an archer and his target. Then he will call to him, and the young man will come to him running and laughing. visit the quran to learn more. At that point, Allah will send Isa, Jesus. He will search for the Ad-Dajjal and will find him at the Gate of Ludd (a city in israel). They will engage in fierce battle and Isa will win. Then the Ad-Dajjal will be no more.

2)  The Appearance of Ya'jooj and Ma'jooj: Ya'jooj and Ma'jooj are two hidden tribes of people.These tribes were disbelieving descendants of prophet Adam. They will come in enormous numbers and will outnumber all the believers of the world. They will break through a barrier that Allah created to hold them back and ravage the earth. They will drink all the water, destroy plants and animals and kill people. This will occur roughly around the time of the second coming of Prophet Isa, Jesus. Finally, Allah will send a type of worm or insect that will wipe them out.

3)  The appearance of the Dabbat al-ard (the strange beast): The Dabbah is a strange beast who will have the Rod of Moses and the seal of Solomon. He will call people back to Islam. Some will heed to the call while others will reject it. The believers will then have a sign that says: "Believer" while the disbelievers will have a "Disbeliever" sign. The exact description of the animal is unknown.

4)  Three Huge Earthquakes: Three major earthquakes will occur on the day of judgment and they will damage a great deal of the earth. One earthquake will occur in the east, another in the west, and the third will be in the Arabian Peninsula.

5)  The Smoke: Smoke will appear all over the earth that will cause believers to catch something similar to the common cold, whereas disbelivers will be hit harder by it. Finally, a cool wind will cause all the believers to die. This leaves all the unbelievers left on earth to experience the last hour of the day of judgment.

6)  The Sun will Rise from the West: This will be a major sign indicating that the world has reached its end. Allah has created the sun and He always made it rise in the East, however, at the end of time He will reverse this process by making it rise from the West. Once this happens, Allah will not accept the repentance of the disbelievers, it will be too late for them.  "The rising of the sun to half of the sky after continuous darkness (in Arabian Peninsula) equal to the time of three days. The sun will set again in it's direction after reaching the sky's middle" as stated by the prophet goes parallel to the phenomenon of the polar shift.

7) The return of Prophet Jesus. Authentic narrations indicate that one of the major signs is that Prophet Jesus will descend from the heavens in Damascus. Prophet Jesus will be the one to lead the believers in battle against the forces of The Dajjal. It is said that he will "break the cross" (disassociate himself from the Christianity of the day) and "kill the pigs" (return to the eating habits of the Jews).
